P&H High Court refuses to grant protection of life and liberty to petitioners entangled in illicit relationship imposes cost of Rs. 25K

In yet another case, the Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court has refused to grant relief to the petitioners who seek protection of life and liberty only to cover up the illicit and promiscuous relationship of the petitioners by abusing and misusing the process of law.

The petitioner no. 1 who is a divorced lady aged about 49 years and is entangled in an illicit relationship with petitioner no. 2 who is a married man of 33 years with wife and children. The children of petitioner no. 1 are settled abroad and family of petitioner no. 2 are facing burnt of this illicit and promiscuous relationship of the petitioners.

The Hon’ble Bench observed that the petitioners had filed the petition only to cover up the illicit and promiscuous relationship of the petitioners by abusing and misusing the process of law. The Court further imposed cost of Rs. 25000 on the petitioners which needs to be deposited in accounts of wife of petitioner no.2.
