Neutral citations system to be launched and implemented at the Apex Court

New Delhi, 07 July-The Apex Court has notified the launch and implementation of Neutral Citation System at the Supreme Court of India.

The neutral citation system has been adopted to provide a uniform, reliable and secure methodology for identifying and citing judgements and orders of Supreme Court of India.

The system will be implemted in a phased manner. Phase-I will include judgements and orders pronounced during the period of 01.01.2014 to 05.07.2023 and 06.07.2023 onwards.
